This Thanksgiving let’s remember to be thankful for all that is given to us. Having breast cancer changes you. It attacks your body and spirit. It pushes you to your personal limits, however it allows us to see the value in our friendships, family and personal choice.
What is important in life??? People often ask “Why Me????” but why not you??? Breast Cancer opens your eyes. When we are faced with our mortality, our true self is revealed. We become grateful for everyday things we have taken for granted. It truly makes you stronger and like survivors of war, we find out whom we can lean on in the battle and in times of peace.
May you see all the blessings you have and enjoy a very “thankful” Thanksgiving!!
